TKK

The Telekom-Control-Kommission is a collegial authority not bound by instructions. It has essential regulatory powers in the field of telecommunications, including market definition and the imposition of corrective measures, interconnectivity, the review of general terms and conditions, monitoring of network neutrality and much more.
RTR provides operational support to the TKK.

The Post-Control-Kommission is a collegial authority not bound by instructions. It has essential regulatory powers in the field of postal services. These include measures regarding universal service, post offices, licencing and much more.
RTR provides operational support to the PCK.

RTR.Telekom.Post

The Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR) is wholly owned by the Republic of Austria. Our core mandate is the promotion of competition in the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal markets and providing operational support for TKK and PCK. Within its own area of competence, RTR issues ordinances for the protection of users and carries out supervisory activities, amongst others.
